The vision
Through the Innovation Experience agency, the client thought of this application out of the desire to create a modern and efficient means of information for farmers. That will make their work easier and help them find the best answer to the many questions that may arise in this vast domain.
This application was intended for presentations and examples of good agricultural practices to farmers and distributors of agricultural inputs in Romania. It is designed as a working tool with a friendly interface for them and as a medium for transmitting and collecting data on corn and rapeseed hybrids KWS.
Moreover, the application is used to make public to Romanian farmers, respectively to those interested: – a series of genetic engineering studies on hybrids of corn and rapeseed crops
– the latest research on crops and harvest results obtained by farmers in Romania, who used hybrids marketed by KWS
– detailed descriptions of hybrid growing plants and their ability to adapt to high and low temperatures and many other interesting materials.
The app structures
The Hybripedia application consists of three parts:
1. an informative part;
2. an interactive map with the geographical location of some farms that have grown KWS hybrids, photographs with plant crop results and various data on growing technologies and / or processes and plant protection;
3. the final part regarding the data on the productions obtained by the Romanian farmers as a result of the use of the crop hybrids marketed by KWS, which also contains a Questions and Answers section.
The development
Rise App has created this application using Ionic as framework, the application being available both in the PlayStore and in the Apple Store. Thus, we optimized the development costs, maximizing the user experience and offering a solution no matter the type of mobile device used.
